RCCI's Prime Focus:
The Rajasthan Chamber of Commerce & Industry (RCCI) places special emphasis on supporting artisans-based household units and micro-enterprises that are typically not registered with the District Industry Centre or other government agencies. In line with this objective, RCCI has identified three key clusters where such enterprises are predominantly located. These clusters include Poorani Tonk, Kakod in the Tonk district, and Bharani in the Tonk district.
Direct Beneficiaries:
A total of 126 individuals have directly benefited from RCCI's initiatives in these clusters.
Capacity Building Programs:
RCCI organized capacity building programs for micro and small enterprises (MSEs) and business development service providers (BDSPs) in Poorani Tonk on December 12, 2007, and December 18, 2007; in Kakod on December 16, 2007; and in Bharani on December 15, 2007. These programs have yielded several positive outcomes, including:

Networking with Government and Other Agencies:RCCI has facilitated networking opportunities for MSEs with relevant government and other agencies such as the Development Commissioner (Handicrafts), NABARD, SIDBI, local banks, and exporters. This networking enables MSEs to establish valuable connections and access various forms of support.
Registration with the Office of the Development Commissioner (Handicrafts):RCCI has assisted MSEs in the process of registering with the office of the Development Commissioner (Handicrafts). This registration opens doors to a range of benefits and opportunities available to registered enterprises.
Free Access to Trade Fairs:As a result of RCCI's initiatives, MSEs have gained free access to participate in trade fairs sponsored by the Development Commissioner (Handicrafts). This provides them with a platform to showcase their products to a wider audience and explore potential business prospects.
Availability of Credit from Banks: RCCI has facilitated the availability of credit facilities from banks for MSEs, enabling them to secure the necessary funds for business operations and growth.
Enhancement of Business Capacities:The capacity building programs have contributed to enhancing the overall business capacities of MSEs. By acquiring new skills and knowledge, MSEs are better equipped to navigate the complexities of their respective industries and thrive in competitive markets.
RCCI's initiatives in these clusters demonstrate its commitment to empowering artisans and micro-enterprises, fostering their growth, and providing them with the necessary resources and support to enhance their business prospects and overall sustainable
